How long is the warranty on your products and what does it cover?
Our Beaverbrooks warranty covers you against any manufacturing or design faults for 12 months from purchase. This is applicable to every Beaverbrooks product.

Do branded products have a different warranty?
Yes, some brands may offer their own warranties. Timeframes will depend on the brand and sometimes product, please refer to our online product specifications and manual booklets for watches.

Are watch batteries covered under warranty?
Usually batteries aren’t covered under the manufacturer’s warranty (refer to your manual booklet), however we at Beaverbrooks will cover your watch battery for the first 12 months from purchase.

Will my item be repaired under warranty?
Products will usually require an assessment by the brand or manufacturer for them to advise. Please visit one of our stores with your product and proof of purchase where our friendly team will be happy to provide advice.

What should I do if my item has an established manufacturing fault?
We are fully aware of your consumer rights and should your item be deemed as faulty once assessed by the brand or manufacturer we will provide you with applicable options in line with this.

Do you offer insurance?

How much does insurance cost?
Prices will vary depending on the value of your product, we always advise to insure against the full retail price. Starting at just £8 for items up to £100 and a maximum of £350 for items £4,000.01 - £5,000, there’s no excess to pay in the event of a claim and the policy can be cancelled if you return or exchange your item within 30 days. What is a jewellery or watch valuation?
A professional valuer examines your jewellery or watch thoroughly, giving you a precise description of the precious metals, gemstones or functions, and confirmation of how much it’s worth. Most people tend to get valuation on their most sentimental pieces as a way to protect them in the event of loss or damage. Once valued, you’ll receive a document that will help with any future insurance claims.

The price may vary depending on the type of watch and if it features any diamonds within the design:
- Watch with no stones - £135
- Watch with 1-10 diamonds - £156
- Watch with 11-20 diamonds - £160
- Watch with 21-30 diamonds - £167

How do I arrange a valuation?
The best way to arrange a valuation is by visiting your nearest Beaverbrooks store where one of our experts will talk you through the process and inspect your jewellery or watch before sending off. Who provides the valuation?
We work with SafeGuard, the UK’s leading Jewellery and Watch valuation service, to provide you with a professional and independent valuation. The expert valuers carefully examine your jewellery and watches using the best practice methods and gemmological equipment.

How long does it take?
Your valuation can take up to five weeks after SafeGuard have received your diamond, jewellery or watch. We will keep you updated on your valuation throughout the process.

What do I need to bring with me?
When you come to visit one of our store experts, please bring purchase receipts and any previous valuations or certificates with you so we can provide as much detail as possible to the valuers at SafeGuard.

What do I get once my item has been valued?
When your jewellery or watch has been returned, you will receive a valuations folder containing a full description of your piece, insurance price of the item, and a photo.
